The Office of Commonwealth Libraries has chosen to close all public libraries in an effort to be proactive in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

This is effective starting Saturday, March 14.

Robinson Library is currently scheduled to be closed until further notice.

As Allegheny County moves into the yellow stage, please stay tuned to our social media for the most up-to-date information regarding when and how we will be re-opening to the public.

Patrons with a valid library card will still be able to access online resources 24/7. Books, downloadable audio items, and online magazines are available for checkout.

Check out our Stay-at-Home page with recommendations for things you can do at home, as well as reliable sources to check out for the most up-to-date information regarding COVID-19.

In March 2020, every household should have received an invitation to complete a simple questionnaire. The three ways to respond are: online/mobile, by phone call, or sending the census by mail. Local census takers will assist those who do not respond. Go to 2020census.gov to complete online today.
